Pure Blue Foundation

Wherever AKARYN Hospitality Management Services’ (AHMS) properties are built, the natural environment will be safeguarded.

That is the promise of the pioneering corporate social responsibility group the Pure Blue Foundation, co-founded in 2010 by AHMS and Aleenta Resorts, set up to preserve the ocean’s eco-system.

The foundation is championed by AHMS, Aleenta Resorts and AKARYN founder Anchalika Kijkanakorn. One of its key projects has been to raise awareness and funds for Thailand’s endangered turtles, including the beautiful green turtle and the imposing leatherback.

But we don’t put all our eggs in one basket. The Pure Blue Foundation is also exploring initiatives to build and restore coral reefs in the waters around AKARYN Samui.

Guests are invited to become a part of the project, and can give of their time, money or any other way they would like to help make a difference.

Restored and healthy reefs give a boost to the entire eco-system, allowing fish populations to flourish and nature to regain its balance.
